Catherine Starr has been involved with planning and performing public rituals for over 15 years.  She is a founding member of Magical Acts Ritual Theatre and Creatrix of the ritual theatre piece “Oracles from the Living Tarot”.  She is a Gardnerian 3rd degree High Priestess, a NROOGD Red Cord and has been leading covens since 1990. 
She is also an Elder in Covenant of the Goddess, a past first officer and interfaith representative and current Canadian representative to the National Board.

Catherine is a founding member of Magical Acts Ritual Theater in Oakland, California. Her ritual play, "Oracles from the Living Tarot," has been performed at several venues on the West Coast since its inception in 1997. She is currently working on a book documenting the process of creating this ritual piece as well as developing a workshop based on this work. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Library Science and has done work towards a Ph.D in Women s Spirituality.

Rite of Earth Renewal

Join us as we recognize our roles as Stewards of the Earth, accepting the work that needs to be done to bring our human life into harmony with the rest of the web of life on earth.  Each of us will be given an opportunity to make our own personal pledges as we dance, drum and celebrate all life.  Drums are most welcome, as we will use them to help with the blessing of the circle as we create our own web of life.
