Topic:
Are You Prepared?
This workshop is intended for festival organizers, workshop planners, temple guardians and landowners.
Emergency preparedness and risk mitigation are not the usual things we think about when planning an event. How can the hazards be analyzed and prepared for in order to ensure a safe event/space? How do we protect our properties and persons from the inherent vulnerabilities of the geography, politic, economic and emotional environment?
Some basic planning steps will be discussed and a questionnaire available for your use. There will be time for discussion of past disasters and possible solutions to prevent their occurrence. If you plan to attend and would like your concern addressed within the talk, send me your experience and questions and I incorporate them into the discussion . |
