TPC 2007 Lecture CD Offer

Robyn Stroll

Robyn Stroll has been a practicing Reiki Healer since 2004 and attained her Master level status in 2007. Among the many lessons taught to her over the years, one that has stood out in the forefront of her mind is the need to act and teach with integrity. She seeks to expand her own knowledge through constant studies and research, as well as through experiencing life hands-on. Having attained a bachelor's degree in a combined honors program of Japanese Studies and Cultural anthropology, Robyn has long since indulged in her passion for discovering other cultures, faiths and ways of life. She herself has been a practicing pagan since 1991, and currently manages Le Melange Magique in Montreal. She also runs Montreal Reiki, which she has devoted to healing and growth.

Topic:

On the path of the Healer: what it means to be responsible AND alternative.

'Alternative healing' seems to be a catchall phrase for any type of treatment that is not considered to be a traditional part of Western Medicine. More and more we find advertisements for alternative healers who promise results, or methods that are less well known, and that are sometimes difficult to explain. How can one tell a healer from a fraud? What is it that makes one a healer, and how can one wishing to follow that path do so with honesty, grace and integrity? What is it like to be an "alternative" healer? Join us to discuss these topics, as well as to participate in an open question and answer period.
